This doesn't mean that you initially chose the wrong agent, or even that they did a poor job. Sometimes a property just doesn't sell as expected. The potential reasons are many, but often a fresh pair of eyes can identify and correct the deficiencies of a prior sale attempt to get the anticipated move back on track!
The emotions of a transaction can be exhausting, from first seeing the sign in the yard to those initial feedback responses - the early listing phase provides a great deal of anticipation.
Then the lull hits. Showings become sporadic at best, feedback takes on a lackluster tone and the carpeting doesn't vacuum itself. Frustration sets in!
The grind. Why isn't it selling? What's my REALTOR® doing to generate interest? Other homes are selling! This is getting embarrassing. Why haven't I heard from my agent?? When is my listing contract up? What do I do now?
